UETDRMP007
This unit covers the performance of rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.

HLTAID009
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. This course covers...
- Responding to an emergency situation.
- Performing CPR procedures
- Communicating details of the incident
- Reviewing the incident
It also covers:
- Ensuring safety for self, bystanders and casualty.
- Seeking assistance from emergency services.
- Operating an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Recognising the possible psychological impacts on self and other rescuers and how to seek help when required

UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace or UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker |
You will need:
- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- 100 points ID (e.g. Passport & drivers licence 0R Birth Certificate & drivers licence -check web for combinations OR check online for other options). One must be a photo ID.
- PPE (if applicable)
- Hard Hat
- Eye Protection/safety glasses
- High Visibility Retro Reflective Vest
- Steel capped boots
Certification
The most current release UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel (Release 1) will be issued if the student meets all of the pre-requisites. UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel can be issued in the interim up until October 13th 2024. The student must have a Statement of Attainment in:

The application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence/registration to practice in the workplace subject to regulations for undertaking of electrical work. Other conditions may apply under state and territory legislative and regulatory licensing requirements which must be confirmed prior to commencing this unit.
