UETDREL005 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus

or

UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.

You will need:

• Unique Student Identifier (USI)
• 100 points ID (e.g. Passport & drivers licence 0R Birth Certificate & drivers licence -check web for combinations OR check online for other options). One must be a photo ID.
• PPE (if applicable)
  • Hard Hat
  • Eye Protection/safety glasses
  • High Visibility Retro Reflective Vest
  • Steel capped boots

Note: Those holding an existing ESI or Electrotechnology qualification or equivalent meet the prerequisite unit requirements. Refer to the UET Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector Training Package Companion Volume Implementation Guide for equivalency definition. The application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence/registration to practice in the workplace. Other conditions may also apply under state and territory legislative and regulatory licensing requirements which must be confirmed prior to commencing this unit.

This competency can form part of a full qualification from

• TLI Transport and Logistics Training package
